In our last episode the EcoTech Marine Battery lasted much longer than UPS battery backups made for computers presumably because of the direct supply of DC power to the pump with no conversion needed and its ability to automatically reduce pump speed when using the battery.
This week we dive even deeper and test out multiple sizes of UPS backups as well as a lithium-ion battery to see if there are other viable options for powering your tank during a power outage.
