The Cannonball is a cover for The Plank mixing chamber that helps prevent algae from growing inside the tube due to overhead lighting. It simply rests on top of the mounting platform and is easy to move in order to check the flow, drop in a piece of frozen food, or use the brush to quickly clean the inside of the tube.
