The Reefer DC protein skimmers feature a combination of self-leveling tech, high performance Sicce PSK DC controllable pumps, and the properly sized venturi, bubble diffuser, and skimmer body for optimal waste removal from saltwater aquariums. With three models to choose from, Red Sea has the perfect skimmer for aquariums ranging in size from 80 to 740 gallons. Best of all, Reefer DC Skimmers connect directly to the Red Sea ReefBeat app for even more control.

Light Bioload - 160 gallons

Medium Bioload - 320 gallons

Heavy Bioload - 500 gallons

Self-Leveling Technology

Never have a skimmer overflow again. When the sensor that monitors foam wetness and waste level is triggered, the Self-Leveling feature is activated. The intensity of the pump is immediately reduced to prevent over-skim, and then slowly adjusted until stable skimming is restored. This means that instead of turning off like most skimmers with a basic float switch system, your Reefer DC Skimmer will continue to oxygenate the water, while still preventing a messy overflow situation.
