For improved longevity, the seals on both the sensor and magnet have been improved from the previous version. The included pump has also been improved, resulting in quieter operation.

How many sensors are built into this system? Is there a high and low sensor or just a low sensor? What protections does it have against overfilling?

This uses one IR sensor to detect the water level.
