The all new  ReefBreeders Reef Nexus Integration Kit replaces your Photon Remote with a cloud-based wireless app. This allows you to fully control your Photon V2 and V2+ via the Reef Nexus App on your iPhone or Android smartphone. The app is intuitive, easy to use, and has far more advanced programming capabilities than the default controller. You can control your Photon V2 Pro using your smartphone from anywhere in the world, as long as you are connected to the internet.

The Reef Nexus Integration Kit replaces your current wifi chip, so you will no longer be using the included remote to control your light. All control functions will be handled via the Reef Nexus App.  All that’s needed is a 2.4Ghz home network connected to the internet, and an iOS or Android smartphone or tablet.

You can control multiple Photon lights with the Reef Nexus App, but you will need one Reef Nexus Integration kit for each Photon V2/V2+. Once each light has the Reef Nexus Integration kit installed, you can group them together in the app, or program them individually if they are on separate tanks.

What's Included?

  • 1x Reef Nexus Integration circuit board
  • 1x New black powder-coated aluminum side-plate to fit the LED indicator and antenna

Product Questions

can I get the installation guide before purchase as I want to review the difficulty to install?
Also, are there specific versions of devices this supports, as I purchased 2 Photon V2 36 about a year ago, and recently purchased a V2 24 and want to ensure if I buy three of these they will work.

Hey there,

I would recommend you check out the video on the installation of that here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9yioBnBZjX4 Logan goes through some pretty good detail on the installation process. The V2's will be compatible with this kit as well. Thanks!
