Red Sea Reef Foundation is based from years of biological analysis of corals and what they require for growth. From their results, they have been able to formulate the Reef Foundation system for Calcium, Alkalinity, and Magnesium maintenance in reef tanks. Using ultra pure raw products, Red Sea has packaged the additives in ready to use bottles and jugs that you can dose directly out of with no mixing required.

Dosing Instructions: 1 mL will raise the Magnesium level of 25 gallons by 1 ppm.

Reef Foundation A - Calcium and Strontium

Reef Foundation B - Alkalinity

Reef Foundation C - Magnesium

For a complete trace element system, we recommend using Red Sea Coral Colors A, B, C, & D along with the Reef Foundation System.

Product Questions

Hi,

I want to run the A B C program. I have a Neptune DOS doser, which only has two heads.
Can I mix calcium and magnesium bottles together?.
If not, what is the approach most reefers are following.?
Thanks,

It is not suggested to mix the calcium and magnesium mixes. In most cases, people will either dose the third solution by hand or obtain a second dosing pump. There are a few single head pump options like the BRS 1.1ml dosing pump that can integrate with your Apex pretty easily too.
