Kalk Reactors
Kalkwasser reactors, sometimes referred to as kalk stirrers, allow you to deliver fully saturated kalkwasser solution to your aquarium. This provides two benefits-- adding calcium and alkalinity to your reef tank, but also increasing pH. While you can feed a kalk stirrer with your auto top off pump, we highly recommend using a reliable dosing pump so that evaporation rates won't affect how much kalkwasser you're adding. We also recommend using a pH monitoring device to alert you if the pH of the aquarium is too high, which might indicate a kalkwasser overdose.
