Essential Anionic Trace Element Supplement for Reef Aquariums

Dose with Pro-Coral K- Trace 1 For the best results!

Three Sizes Available:

  • 200 mL
  • 500 mL
  • 1000 mL

In the ocean, there are tiny amounts of essential trace elements such as iodine, lithium, manganese, etc. that can be depleted rapidly in household aquariums as corals and invertebrates grow. Tropic Marin Pro-Coral A- and Pro-Coral K+ are formulated to replenish those elements in an easy to dose balanced, liquid additive. When trace element levels start to get low corals can lose their color and stop growing completely.

  • Doser Ready
  • Easy to use
  • No mixing required to use
  • Contains required anionic trace elements
  • Supports natural coral color and growth

Instructions:

For a complete trace elements supply, we recommend the use of both trace element solutions, Pro-Coral A- and Pro-Coral K+.

Add 1 ml trace elements of each solution per 100 l / 25 US-Gal. of aquarium system water volume daily. The trace elements solution must not get directly onto the animals. The demand for trace elements increases with increased aquarium population density. In heavily populated aquariums, dosage may be increased up to the maximum dosage below.

Maximum dosage: Do not exceed a dosage of 2 ml per 100 l / 25 gallons of aquarium system water volume per day.

Pro-Coral A- Trace 2 Contains:

  • Bromine
  • Fluorine
  • Iodine
  • Lithium
  • Molybdenum
  • Selenium
  • Vanadium

Product Questions

Can the trace 1 and 2 additives be used on their own separate auto dosers, or would the bottles need to be shaken before each dosing? Tropic marin mentions shake before use on their product pages for each additive, but here the description shows that they are both doser ready.
Question by: Payton Dwyer on Nov 26, 2023, 12:01 PM
The Pro-Coral Trace elements can be dosed directly but a shake once in a while makes certain that everything remains in suspension.

Can trace 1&2 be mixed together? I have a single BRS Doser & was just wondering if they can be mixed into the same dosing container? After all they are trace elements so they shouldn’t react with each other
Question by: David Egan on Sep 11, 2020, 11:59 AM
Hey there,
Thank you for reaching out to us! Yes, they can be mixed together.

Please let me know if you need anything further and take care!

Should this (and the K+ Part-2) be used with the “All/For-Reef” supplement, or would there be duplication of any elements? If so, what are the corollary dosing instructions with that product, in relation to calcium usage?
Question by: Eli on Aug 17, 2018, 7:23 AM
Hey there Eli,
Great question! I would recommend against using the Pro-Coral Trace 1 & 2 in conjunction with the All-For-Reef as it contains the same trace elements as the Pro-Coral Trace (Iodine, Bromine, Fluorine, Selenium, and Vanadium) and some of the elements from the Trace 2 (Strontium) which could lead to an imbalance in those particular trace elements. As for dosing with something such as the Bio-Calcium, we recommend dosing 5mL of trace elements for every 5mL of Bio-Calcium used. Let us know if you have any further questions. Happy reefing! :)
