  • Passive cooling through generous heat-sinks
  • Built for efficiency and durability

Select LED’s

The Mitras lights utilize LED’s from the industry’s best LED diode manufacturers such as Cree and OSRAM, operating at the highest efficiency possible to reduce power consumption and ensure maximum operation life. You can also select between 2 operation modes: High Efficiency Mode (good light output with maximum efficiency) or High Output Mode (maximum light output).

Excellent Light Mixing & Spread

GHL’s specialized metal-coated high-performance LED reflectors maximize light delivery and minimize the unwanted disco-ball effect common to LED light sources. The tightly packed LEDs inside each cluster, combined with the LED reflector provides optimal color blending on all channels. In a single Mitras LX cluster, all 12 LEDs are housed in an area of just 25 mm x 25 mm; this narrow arrangement and special reflector design helps achieve perfect light mixing. The shape of the reflectors and placement of the clusters has also been designed to ensure optimum light spread and even illumination.

Innovative Cooling

The innovative cooling system features both passive and microprocessor-controlled active cooling to ensure reliable protection against overheating for maximum light output and a particularly long service life (> 80,000 hours). The cooling fans are incredibly quiet and will only ramp up as needed.

Control

The operation of the Mitras is simple and user-friendly. Setup can be done directly from the device’s control panel, via GHL Connect App on your PC or via webserver, or via the cloud through myGHL. With the integrated lighting control, you can conveniently adjust the light output as well as the light spectrum in a wide range exactly as needed and save it as an illumination project of your own. The Mitras offers detailed control of your lighting through 9 LED-channels with over 4000 dimming levels and a dimming ratio of 3000: 1 per light channel.

Product Questions

Would one of these be too much for a 40 gal AIO cube?
Question by: Rich Crotty on Nov 17, 2022, 1:14 PM
Thanks for the question! You'll likely need to turn it down, but it is acceptable to use for a tank of this size. Just use a PAR meter to get the settings dialed in correctly for the corals you plan to keep. Let us know if we can help with anything else!
