Adaptive Reef Metric to Standard PVC Adapter Unions make it incredibly simple and clean to plumb skimmers, pumps, reactors, and other equipment with European metric connections into your system. Each union has two female slip fitting connections, one with a metric side and one with a standard US side. Just insert the respective pipe ends into each side, glue them in place with PVC cement, and you’re set!

These unions come in metric plumbing sizes from 15mm up to 40mm, allowing you to easily convert European Metric-sized plumbing to Standard US PVC. Once glued in place, they provide a strong, permanent connection.

Five Sizes Available

  • DN15 - 20mm to 1/2 inch

Product Questions

Which side is metric? Does it have same union thread as metric union? Can it be directly connected to Nyos 440? Thanks
Question by: Pavel on Jul 29, 2024, 7:35 PM
The Metric to Standard PVC Union - Slip X Slip depends upon which way you want the water to flow and then just move the nut to the side you want.

Can I screw this on to the reefer 170 gen 1 main line or do I have to glue both ends?
Question by: Jeff Reeves on Mar 25, 2023, 5:32 PM
Thanks for the question! This fitting is a slip x slip and will require it to be glued on both sides to form a complete seal.

Can you tell me the size I would need for a Red Sea Reefer-S 1000 G2?
Question by: Shane Long on Nov 20, 2022, 4:45 PM
Thanks for the question! All the need G2 models come with standard adapter so you should not need to convert on your own!
