Provides a natural source of essential calcium for healthier, more colorful corals and reef invertebrates, including snails, shrimp, crabs, clams, and mollusks, as well as coralline algae. The calcium concentration of a reef aquarium should be between 400-500 ppm. Use whenever testing shows a calcium level below 400 ppm. Dose according to directions on product label. Directions for Use:
Shake well prior to use. Using the dosing cap on the bottle, add 5 ml per 10 gallons (38 L) of aquarium water.
Tips:
- In natural reefs, calcium levels are very stable and changes are gradual. It is advisable to raise calcium to the desired level over several days and not all at once.
- The calcium level gradually drops in reef aquariums as invertebrates utilize calcium in the water. It is important to test calcium levels weekly. Check out the API Calcium Test Kit for accurate results.
