Hanna has put many features into the HI190-M including Speedsafe technology that will help prevent any damage to the stirrer motor if the load is suddenly removed. Also incorporated is a safety fuse that will prevent overloading of the electronics without causing any damage to the sensitive parts within. With a 2-year warranty, the Hanna HI190-M is the perfect choice for a magnetic stirrer. 

We highly suggest using containers that have flat bottoms like the OXO Flip-Lock Storage Containers. It is possible to use bottles or jugs that have uneven bottoms but it may need to be set off-center on the base for the best results.
