Breaking the Mold: Not Just Another Skimmer

  • Innovative Dual Intake Design
  • In-Line Controller for Precise Tuning
  • Dual Needle Wheel Design
  • Feeding Mode, Overflow Protection, Start Delay, and More
  • Ideal for Aquariums from 68-171 Gallons

The Maxspect Jump SK200 is an excellent and affordable option for efficient protein skimming in reef aquariums from 68-171 gallons. It features a patented dual water inlet with dual needle wheel design. Water is sucked in from both sides of the skimmer into the dual needle wheels to create smaller, higher density bubbles, which results in increased surface area for removing organics from your system.

The Jump Protein Skimmer is also equipped with an overflow sensor in its collection cup, which will turn off the skimmer pump when triggered to prevent any accidents. Once the float sensor is back to its normal position, the pump will automatically resume power after a ten second delay. The included controller can be used to easily adjust the pump speed or to enter a "Feed Mode" which will pause the skimmer for 10 minutes.

Other Innovative Features Include:

An Integrated air silencer to keep the skimmer running quietly.

Front Dial to precisely adjust the water level.

Integrated bubble trap that helps prevent micro bubbles from escaping into your sump.

Quick releases for easier maintenance.

Maxspect recommended for aquariums up to:

Light Bioload - 171 Gallons

Medium Bioload - 120 Gallons

Product Questions

How do you take the cup off to clean?? I’ve tried twisting and pulling but all I’ve come up with is hands covered in scum.
Question by: Sam Locke on Aug 2, 2024, 8:47 PM
According to Maxspect, since the seal is so tight, it can be pried up from underneath the cup. Make sure there is enough clearance about the skimmer so that the collection cup doesn't get damaged.
