In-Line Probe Holder Manifold

Adaptive Reef’s In-Line Probe Holder assembly is one of the most elegant and effective mounting solutions available for probe-based monitoring of aquarium water parameters. Utilizing in-line probe mounts ensures rapid reading of changes to water parameters. Since the probe sensors are in an enclosed system, you don’t have to worry about fluctuating water levels in your sump, or other issues arising from interference from other equipment or jostling in the sump, and as an added benefit, this reduces the clutter of probes and wires going into your sump, which is often cluttered enough with other plumbing and wires!

The In-Line Probe Holder comes with 4 probe holder ports with compression fittings to ensure a water-tight fit. Also included are plugs for any unused ports. The supplied probe fittings will accept most standard probes, such as pH probes, ORP probes and conductivity probes. The In-Line Probe Holder can be plumbed into any section of 3/4 inch PVC plumbing via the slip X slip union connections, and the clear PVC section allows for visual verification that the probes are getting proper water contact. Adaptive Reef also thoughtfully included an isolation valve which can be plumbed upstream of the manifold to allow for routine maintenance.

Note:  In order to ensure proper function, it’s recommended that water be diverted from the main lines to the manifold, and the flow-through be maintained at 200 GPH or less. Most probes are not designed for backpressure and should not be used in a high-pressure system.
