If you have a euro braced tank or a tank with extra thick glass or trim the Kessil Extension mount is designed to mount to the back of the stand below the tank giving a secure mounting point for the mounting arms. If you need the option to mount your AP9X, AP700, or A360 LED light to the stand below your tank this is going to be what you will need.

How much weight will they support? I'm interested in the new Aquatic life T5 fixture (48") with 2 Kessil A360's. I have a vaulted ceiling, so can't hang from the ceiling and am looking for an alternative. Would this work??

The Kessil Mounting Arms can handle a bit of weight and should have no problem supporting the Aquatic Life fixture and a couple Kessil A360 LED lights.

Can you route associated cables through the mount tube to keep them hidden?

There are no current provisions to route the cable through the mount, however if you wish to modify the mount, it is possible.

The extension Mount displayed is holding an AP700. As with the regular mounts, would I need two extension mounts to use the AP700 with the type mount or would this kit include a left and right extension arm?

The extension mount provides additional vertical rise for applications where the lights can't be mounted directly to the tank. The extension kit comes with two extension tubes, so if you have the two required horizontal pieces, you will only need one extension mount set.
