Product Questions

Does the dual ionization casters come delivered with two mixed bed resin cartridges or separate cation and anion cartridges?
Question by: Rick on Mar 16, 2024, 5:47 AM
These will come prefilled with mixed bed resin.
Answer by: Laura (BRS Staff) on Mar 29, 2024, 1:21 PM
How many gallons can be produced before replenishing the resin & at what assumed feed water ppm? What is the output gpm?
Question by: Jim Wolfe on Mar 20, 2022, 8:59 AM
Hey Jim, thanks for the questions! The Amount of water you will get out of these is completely depending on how bad your incoming TDS is going through the DI resin. Some people will see resin last months, and others will see it last weeks. As far as the output, this is dependent on what size membrane you have. We carry units that put out 75, 100, 150, and 200 gallons per day.
Answer by: James Johnson (BRS Staff) on Mar 23, 2022, 5:11 PM
What size canisters do these come with? How much resin should I order to refill both cartridges?
Question by: Russ on Dec 12, 2021, 11:22 AM
Thank you for your question. The Dual Deionization Canister comes with our standard 2.5" x 10" canisters. You will use about 1.25 lbs of resin to fill each canister.

Can these Dual Deionization Canister be used with any rodi unit or just BRS RODI SYSTEMS
Question by: John putman on Dec 21, 2016, 11:20 PM

Answer by: Randy on Dec 22, 2016, 5:14 PM

Question by: Tom on Dec 18, 2016, 9:25 AM

I already have an ro (GE one that only does 11g/day.....). Would adding a T with shut off valve after ro process to bypass the pressure storage tank, then adding the dual di right before my brute trash can ro storage work?
Question by: David on Nov 8, 2016, 4:03 PM
Great question and great idea! That would absolutely work and I would recommend the BRS favorite 3-way valve listed in the link below! :-)

Question by: Marcos Cardenas on May 22, 2016, 6:02 PM
Great question! BRS does not recommend DI filtration for drinking water systems.
Answer by: Carter on May 25, 2016, 2:43 PM
Do y'all have this same thing without the DI resin? I want one like that basically but so I can put sediment filters in it. My tap tds is 800. I'm already getting the RO only 4 stage unit but I'd like to add 2 more sediment filters
Question by: Jonathan H. on Apr 30, 2016, 1:53 PM
Great question! Unfortunately we do not have this exact unit available with out DI, however we do sell replacement canister housings here: https://www.bulkreefsupply.com/reverse-osmosis-canisters.html, please note, fittings are sold separately.

Is it possible to get this setup with 3/8" ports since that is what I already have?
Question by: Chris Jacobsen on Apr 24, 2016, 5:13 PM
Great question!
We do not have the ability to custom a Dual DI set up unfortunately. You can adapt the 1/4" input and output with the item listed below.

I just ordered this yesterday and I have a question about how to hook it but if I only want the water to go through the Di for my tank and still have drinking water that is not going through it
Question by: Toni Holley on Apr 5, 2016, 12:44 PM
Great question!
You will want to Tee off the RO water before the DI stage to send water to an RO drinking water system. The other side of the tee will connect to the DI stage. Feel free to let us know if you have any further questions!
