High-Performance Chemical Dispensing Tygon A-60 Tubing

With a slow flow rate of 1.6mL/min, Drew's Doser is the perfect liquid additive doser. Compared to most other dosing pumps that dispense in quick spurts, making it an ideal way to automatically add alkalinity solutions or other additives that may precipitate easily.

  • Doesn't Back-Siphon
  • Easy To Use With a Digital Timer
  • Super Quiet Operation
  • 1-Year Bulk Reef Supply Warranty

Tygon A-60 Tubing

The BRS Drew's Doser Pump Head includes Tygon A-60 Tubing which is designed for chemical transfer and dispensing. Tygon A-60 outperforms neoprene, EPDM, and almost every other general-purpose tubing available today in flexural fatigue and chemical resistance testing. Tygon A-60 tubing was made specifically for peristaltic pumps providing minimal wear with superior abrasion resistance with a wide temperature range.

We do not suggest using this pump for auto top off systems. Due to the slow flow rate and the motor's long duty-cycle, it is best suited for intermittent use and we highly suggest using a pump with a faster flow rate for an Auto Top Off System.

Product Questions

How would this handle running 10 to 12 hrs straight per day?
Question by: John lebsock on Nov 21, 2021, 8:13 PM
Due to the slow flow rate and the motor's long duty-cycle, it is best suited for intermittent use.

Hi, I was wondering if this could pull an ALK solution up from my basement. It's about 10 feet below my aquarium. Is that possible with this pump?

Hey there,

Due to the style of the pump it could easily pull liquid from that height. The rollers make it very efficient that way.

Take care
