Dr. Craig Bingman is one of the earliest pioneers to the saltwater aquarium hobby and was recently honored with the 2019 MASNA Award for his foundational role in understanding the chemical processes in aquariums. He has helped countless hobbyists overcome challenges with water chemistry in reef tanks and helped pave the way for some of the most common reef tank additives we still use today. Dr. Bingman was a monumental contributing author to the Aquarium Frontiers articles series that proved to solve some of the most critical problems facing reef aquarists in the 90’s.
