We are now transitioning all ordering of Neptune Systems, EcoTech Marine, AquaIllumination, Bulk Reef Supply Wholesale, and all of our Aperture Exclusive Distribution Brands to the new Aperture Business website (aperturebusiness.com).
If we have not yet moved your account, we need your basic information to complete that transition.
For just over $10, you can make your own 2 part dosing containers using just four items.
Here's what you need:
(2) 1/4" acrylic tube
(2) Mur-Lock bulkheads
3/4" Drill bit
Containers
Step 1: Drill a hole in your containers cap or lid. We used a stepper bit and our Mr. Chili Mixing Jug (which is a standard 1 gallon jug, you can use any container with a cap or lid).
Step 2: Insert bulkhead into your drilled hole and screw on the nut.
Step 3: Cut your tube to the appropriate length for your container and insert into the bulkhead. Be sure it goes in all the way, and that the seal is tight.
Step 4: Screw on the cap
Step 5: Drill a small hole in your container allowing air to escape (this way you will not be creating a vacuum when sucking fluid out).
That's it! The container is nice because the tube stays a consistent distance from the bottom and the dosing pump tubing is connected securely.
