BRS Top Off Dosers are intermittent duty pumps and not meant for continuous operation. We recommend on/off cycles under a few hours to maximize life span. This is a higher RPM motor than the BRS 2 Part Doser and may make a small amount of noise in operation but is much quieter than most dosing pumps in this flow rate range. Mounting the pump to the inside of a wooden stand will amplify sound.

Product Questions
I use these for kalk and the internal tubing keeps having issues. Is there a place to buy a couple replacements of the internal tubing only?

Thanks for the question! With Kalkwasser you'll want the pump to run quite often with small diameter tubing. If you need the replacement tubing for the head please use the link below:

Does this pump need to run on outlets 4/8 of the apex?

Thanks for the question! This is low enough wattage/amperage that it does not matter which outlet you plug this dosing pump into for the Apex.

So, this would be my first ATO, and I'm looking at this pump.. just not sure what the output hose diameter is. Is it half inch or quarter? I am asking as I want to use this with a float valve, which uses quarter inch RO tubing. Thanks!

Hey Chris, thanks for the question! The tubing that works for this pump is the Drews Dosing Tubing (SKU: 232089) which has a 1/4" outside diameter. We would recommend using this on a timed application as BRS Top Off Dosers are intermittent duty pumps and not meant for continuous operation. We recommend on/off cycles under a few hours to maximize life span.
