Innovative Marine now offers their screen net top suspension clips separately allowing you to mount a screen net top on a rimless aquarium.
Rimless tanks usually require some creative solution for suspending a screen net top without it being an eye sore. When using the clips they will let the screen top rest within the perimeter of the aquarium making for a super clean, professional look.

Would these clips support a glass canopy?

They will support a simple lid that is made out of glass, but an entire canopy may get a little heavy and the clips may not support the weight.

Will 15mm clips work for 5/8 inch glass? Appears to be too small if you convert. What would one use to suspend in the case it's too narrow?

The 15mm would be just a hair to small and a worry of cracking or breaking if stretched would be a concern. Unfortunately we do not currently have larger options however by searching online for aquarium lid clips you can often find larger sizes. Feel free to let us know if you have any further questions!

I just ordered the Rimless mesh net kit days ago and totally would have ordered these as well. Now I'm wondering what shipping might be to order these by themselves. Here's the question:
I ordered a kit for my 4x2 100g that has 1/2' glass. What size clips should I be looking at? Also do I need to trim the mesh net kit a spec to make sure it fits inside the rim of my tank?

Unfortunately these are a brand new item to our inventory within the past few days. For your tank the 15mm clips would be needed as the 12mm while close would bee too tight for 1/2" glass. Feel free to let us know if you have any further questions!
