Pretty much all probes need to be stored in a storage solution if there out of the tank (don't want them to dry out). You can find the storage solution right here:

It would work perfectly fine for that, though I wouldn't suggest measuring the pH of your RO/DI water. RO/DI water has almost no resistance to change in pH so the pH will change quickly and often and is largely depending on the amount of CO2 in the air around the water storage tank. It will change quickly to normal range of pH of your tank when you add all the salt. Probe storage solution can be found right here:
